The12th edition of 7 Days with the Media is about to get underway. May 3, as it has been for 12 years, will be the symbolic date – International Press Freedom Day – which opens a 7-day week until May 9. This year, in addition to having a renewed image in terms of logo, this annual operation to promote better levels of media literacy also has a new website .
It is in this new virtual home (directly linked to the GILM website, which is thus the mother site and to which you can always return by clicking on the respective logo) that all those who wish to participate will be able to meet and register their initiatives and projects. The usual REGISTRATION FORMAfter the participants have filled in the form, it will be analyzed by a technical team from GILM, who will validate it based on compliance with the following requirements defined rules and criteriamaking the publication of all registered initiatives and projects visible in the Initiatives tab! The information available in that tab is very useful so that we can follow the ideas shared, contact their authors or, in formats that allow it, even participate in what is planned!
With the form now available, it’s now possible to start registering initiatives and projects!
GILM itself is preparing some initiatives which it will reveal soon and which may be of interest to many!
A curiosity is that this year’s edition will once again feature the participation of Ambassadors, i.e. institutional representatives and individual personalities who believe in the objectives and relevance of the Operation and who therefore associate themselves with it and give it visibility!
The Ambassadors will be known as of this week and as the operation progresses! On the website’s homepage you can already see the vision of the first ambassador: Luísa Ribeiro Lopes, President of the .PT Board of Directors and member of the GILM advisory board. Other names will be joining soon!
