{"id":3123,"date":"2024-05-02T22:29:08","date_gmt":"2024-05-02T22:29:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.gilm.pt\/gilm-pnc-film-matinee-participants-join-three-experts-from-different-fields-to-debate-and-deconstruct-the-movie-a-difficult-class\/"},"modified":"2024-05-03T11:34:12","modified_gmt":"2024-05-03T11:34:12","slug":"gilm-pnc-film-matinee-participants-join-three-experts-from-different-fields-to-debate-and-deconstruct-the-movie-a-difficult-class","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.gilm.pt\/en\/gilm-pnc-film-matinee-participants-join-three-experts-from-different-fields-to-debate-and-deconstruct-the-movie-a-difficult-class\/","title":{"rendered":"GILM\/PNC film matinee: participants join three experts from different fields to debate and deconstruct the movie &#8220;A Difficult Class&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-vivid-cyan-blue-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-d6d77a37568d45e62bd588effd607446\">The <strong>12th edition of Operation 7 Days with the Media<\/strong> begins tomorrow, May 3, with the first of seven days entirely dedicated to promoting media literacy.  <\/p>\n\n<p>For the <strong>movie matinee<\/strong> scheduled to start at <strong>2:30 p.m. in the auditorium of Escola Secund\u00e1ria Verg\u00edlio Ferreira<\/strong> in Lisbon<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/live\/LP_gsMDZoMc?si=zn3MiP1MuY9DMj6G\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>(streaming<\/em><\/a> on<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/live\/LP_gsMDZoMc?si=zn3MiP1MuY9DMj6G\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">GILM&#8217;s Youtube channel<\/a>), the <strong>Informal Group on Media Literacy (GILM<\/strong> ) and the <strong>National Film Plan<\/strong> (PNC) have invited a panel made up of three experts from different fields. A journalist and presenter, a director, photographer and trainer and a historian and history teacher.  <strong>Andreia Fria\u00e7as<\/strong>, <strong>Eduardo Amado<\/strong> and <strong>Ricardo Presumido<\/strong> are the three special guests at the debate that will follow the joint screening of the French film <strong>&#8220;A Difficult Class&#8221; <\/strong>(original title &#8220;Les H\u00e9ritiers&#8221;), by filmmaker Marie-Castille Mention-Schaar.  <\/p>\n\n<p>The debate will be moderated by <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/DRAGnSFDlhg?si=5uBPvaMY1QO-OcDv\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Jo\u00e3o Lopes, digital leader and 7 Days with the Media 2024 Ambassador<\/a>, and Susana Tavares, representative of the Directorate-General for Education at GILM. He writes regularly for the newspaper P\u00fablico on topics such as human rights, gender issues, identity and minorities.<\/p>\n\n<p>In 2023, she received the Rainbow Award from the ILGA Portugal association and in 2021 she was honored with the Gazeta Revelation Award. He received two honorable mentions in the Human Rights &amp; Integration Journalism Award. In addition to her journalistic work, she was part of the audiovisual project &#8220;Translate Yourself into Strength&#8221;, which brings together immigrant women and poetry. The project was presented at the Lisbon Feminist Festival, at the Beast International Film Festival in Porto and at the United Nations Organization in New York.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Eduardo Amaro<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n<p>Director, photographer, trainer.<br\/>He holds a Master&#8217;s Degree in Film Directing, with a specialization in directing, from the Lisbon School of Theatre and Cinema, and is a certified trainer.<br\/>He is a fiction and documentary director, developing projects in partnership with the EU.<br\/>He also teaches filmmaking, photography, animation and sound design.<br\/>He develops personal projects in the areas of music and photography.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Ricardo Presumido  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Historian and History teacher, post-graduate in<br\/>Contemporary History, Faculty of Letters, University of Lisbon.<br\/>dedicated to the memory and teaching of the Holocaust, being founder and Vice-President<br\/>since 2009 of Memosho\u00e1 &#8211; Holocaust Memory and Teaching Association.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">He has participated in various national and international congresses on this subject.<br\/>highlighting its participation in the 8th International Conference, Telling the Story,<br\/>Teaching the Core, which took place at Yad Vashem in Israel, and at the Conference<br\/>Portugal and the Holocaust: Learning from the Past, Teaching for the Future which took place<br\/>at the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation in Lisbon.<br\/><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Throughout his teaching career he has participated in various conferences,<br\/>lectures, trainings and projects on the subject, in primary, secondary and high schools.<br\/>university, having been a guest lecturer on the Advanced Training Course in<br\/>Cultural Memory: &#8220;The Memory of the Holocaust in European Culture&#8221;, at the University<br\/>Cat\u00f3lica Portuguesa. He is also a teacher trainer, accredited by the<br\/>Scientific-Pedagogical Council for Continuing Education of the Ministry of Education.<br\/>It also organized the Cinema Cycle: Image and Memory, on the Second World War.<br\/>World War and the Holocaust, which has already been published in four editions, a partnership between the<br\/>Memosho\u00e1, Cascais City Council and the D. Lu\u00eds I Foundation.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\"><br\/>In recent years, he has also organized Seminars on Wheels, trips on the<br\/>memory of the Holocaust in Europe, particularly in Poland, Germany, Europe<br\/>Central (Czech Republic, Austria and Hungary), the Netherlands, Belgium, the Baltics and the<br\/>Italy.
